Being a captain means being a leader on the pitch but why should it stop there? We encourage and guide our young players to be leaders on and off the pitch.

Our Leadership Programme gives all our players the opportunity to be responsible young leaders and develop the character traits required to be great role models. We focus on teaching life skills related to honesty, professionalism, determination and having the correct positive attitude required for success.

Also, sharing the team captaincy allows more than one player to inspire their team mates, lead by example with respect and understand the mechanics of the game from a coach’s perspective. Protecting and guiding our younger citizens by helping in the right way promotes a safer environment that nurtures positive child welfare.
